A coil is heated using a battery powered device known by many names such as e-cigarette, e-cig, vaporiser or simply a vape. These devices use wicking materials, normally cotton to absorb the juice and expose it to a heating element known as a coil, thus producing vapor which is then inhaled by the user. We only recommend vaping to those who wish to steer away from the use of Cigarettes and are unable or unwilling to do so in other ways.
What’s in E-liquids
If you do not smoke, then you should not start vaping as this is meant to be an alternative to assist smokers to quit.
E-liquid (juice) contains three ingredients with an optional fourth – these are propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin and flavorings. The fourth is nicotine.
In Australia, it is illegal to sell e-liquid containing nicotine as it is classified as a Schedule 7 poison by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). However, you can purchase from overseas for personal use only as it is also illegal to gift nicotine.
